Southern Tide Media Sample report
This is a sample with illustrative data. The business below is fictional and every number, name and post is invented to show the format — any resemblance to a real company is coincidence. This is the report our Social Media clients receive each month, filled with your real posts, your real numbers and the actual work done on your accounts.

Social Media Monthly Report

Prepared for: Pelican Point Outfitters (fictional example) · Growth plan · July 2026 · delivered August 4

The month in three numbers

16posts published of the 16 planned, across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok — plus 2 Google Business Profile posts
+318net new followers across all channels, from 2,914 to 3,232. Reach 41,600, up 12% on June
287sessions on the website from social, and 9 booking inquiries we can trace to them

Channel by channel

2,104Instagram followers+214 this month
861Facebook followers+37 this month
267TikTok followers+67 this month
4.9%Median engagement rate−0.4 pts vs June

Engagement rate slipped slightly while reach grew — that is the normal shape when posts reach further beyond the existing audience, and it is worth watching rather than worrying about. The number we care about more is the 287 sessions and what they did next.

What worked, and what didn't

Reel · 0:24 Guided sunset tour, start to finish 11,400 plays · 8.9% engagement · 41 saves · 6 booking-link taps
Carousel · 5 slides Five things to check before your first paddle 3,880 reached · 6.8% engagement · 214 saves — the most-saved post you have ever run
Static · Facebook End-of-season rental pricing 1,120 reached · 1.2% engagement · 3 link clicks — the weakest post of the month

The third card is there on purpose. A price list posted as a graphic is the kind of thing that feels productive and does nothing; it earned a quarter of the engagement of anything else this month. We would rather show you the one that failed than quietly leave it out, because the pattern across three months now is clear — posts that teach something outperform posts that announce something, by roughly four to one on this account.

What it cost, honestly

Nine traceable booking inquiries against $630 is the arithmetic, and our own fee is in it — an agency that leaves its own cost out of a return calculation is telling you a story rather than giving you a number. Two caveats we would rather state than bury: social attribution is genuinely imperfect, so treat the nine as a floor and not a total; and a good month on social usually shows up in next month's bookings, not this one.

What we'd do next

Every Social Media engagement gets this report monthly, written by the person doing the work. Your accounts, your content and your photography stay in your name throughout — including if we part ways. Questions about yours take a reply, not a meeting.
